Rys's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her cattle headcount and sales of organic milk.

Rys's story

The 40-year-old Rys is married with three children. She has a secondary education. She has been raising livestock and growing crops since 2011, and this is her family's main source of income. Thanks to her hard work, her farm presently consists of eight cows, two horses, and a 0.35-hectare plot on which she grows beans. She also has a contract to deliver organic milk to the local plant, where it is processed into various dairy products. This allows her to constantly put money back into her agricultural business.

After learning that she can obtain a loan from Bai Tushum Bank using the contract for future deliveries as collateral under a Value-Added Chain arrangement, Rys has applied for a loan of 130,000 som (KGS), with which she will buy dairy cows. Her aim in this is to increase her milk sales. The plant's payments for the milk will be deposited directly into her bank account, and the loan payments will be automatically deducted.

The income generated by the loan will allow her to develop her farm going forward and provide her children with a high-quality education.
