Hellen's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy farm inputs, such as fertilizer and hybrid seeds, and allow a single mum to hire laborers to boost the quality of her produce, earn more profits and improve her life.

Hellen's story

Get to know this beautiful woman, Hellen, a 44-year-old married mom of seven. She carries out her responsibilities well and is able to give her family the best a caring mother would be able to provide.

Farming is her main income source. She takes her work on the farm seriously and ensures that she reaps the best out of every opportunity that comes her way. She practices dairy and crop farming. Hellen has been in this business for many years and has never thought of going back.

Filled with determination to better her family's conditions and undeterred by difficulties she has encountered, she has decided to expand her existing farm. Hellen is humbly seeking a 20,000 KES loan, which she will use to pay for farm inputs and hire laborers to grow more crops on the farm.

It takes a lot for a smallholder farmer to risk limited resources to expand a farming business. With your help, Hellen will be able to settle the high cost of farm inputs necessary for expansion. A significant portion of the profit will be ploughed back into the business to fuel growth as she sets a good foundation for her children.
