A loan helped to buy feeds and vitamins for pigs.

Leo's story

Leo is a 34-year-old farmer from Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija. He is single and living with his family. For the last 5 years, he has been engaged in the piggery business. They sell pigs for special occasions, or they deliver them to a slaughter house. He has been a reliable client of Alalay sa Kaunlaran (ASKI), Inc. for about 1 year. Leo has been granted another loan amounting to 50,000.00 PHP under the agricultural loan program of ASKI. His loan will be used to buy feeds and vitamins for his pigs. His dream is to expand his piggery business and for his children to finish their studies. He hopes that with the help of ASKI and KIVA Funders, his piggery business will expand.
