Pisileni's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for the release of a container of kava from the wharf.

Pisileni's story

This is Pisileni. She is a 54-year-old mother of five children and a wife of a fishery worker. Pisileni runs a business of selling Kava (Tongan beer) at their own home.

Pisileni is applying for a loan to pay for the release of her container of kava, which has been shipped from outer islands. Pisileni packs the kava powder in small plastic bags and then sells it out to customers.

Her husband makes money for their family, but Pisileni still wants to run her own business and be independent. Her business is running very actively, which can be seen in her repayment record as she pays her loan in advance.

She hopes for her children to continue running a business of their own in the future, so that they can be independent.
