Lisa's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy pandanus for her weaving business.

Lisa's story

This is Lisa. She is 26 years old. She married a farmer, and they have three children. Lisa currently runs a business of weaving, and she has been doing this business for five years now. Her business plays a major role in her family's life, especially with their financial needs. She weaves ta'ovala [a Tongan dress] and mats from white pandanus only. Lisa sells her products to her sisters overseas and some other relatives. She also posts it on the internet for more followers. The only challenge that she usually faces is lack of time for her to meet the demands of her customers due to the fact that she is a solo weaver. Starting this year, she is planning on joining a weaving group in her neighborhood.

Lisa applied for a loan in order to buy pandanus to weave a ta'ovala and sell it for her children's educational needs. Lisa's vision for the future is for her children to finish their education and live a better life.
