Flor De Cantuta Group's story

The “FLOR DE CANTUTA” communal bank is from the city of Oruro, Bolivia. It has eight members who are friends.
Sonia is 35 years old and lives with her partner and their son. She makes a living selling pork rinds on the weekends. She learned this business from her family members a long time ago.
The loan she will take out now is to increase her capital (to buy rice, noodles, and oil), which she will acquire from the wholesalers in the city of Oruro, and to buy a larger cart. Then she will be able to prepare and sell her foods better. This helps her generate her own resources and to help her family. Her aspiration is to have her own restaurant. Sonia is asking you to trust in the communal bank.
