Marriah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy more dry fish to sell.
Meet Marriah, 27 years old. She is living together with her partner along with 3 children; all of her children are schooling and live at home. Marriah deals in a business where she sells dry fish in the general market. She learned this trade from her mother. She has had this business for 6 years now. She transports her supplies to her business site by the use of car. She sells Monday through Saturday. For the improvement of her business, Marriah had asked for a loan through BRAC Liberia and KIVA Field Partner. She plans to use the loan to buy more dry fish to sell to her good clients. She likes her business because sales are fast. In the future, she wants to build a house for her family. She says thanks to BRAC and KIVA Community.
