Patience's story

Meet 28-year-old Patience from Liberia. She is living together with her partner along with 2 kids. The ages of her children are 4 and 8 years. Both of her children are schooling and live at home. Patience attended school until 8th grade. She mainly sells dry fish. Her mother taught her how to sell. She uses car to transport supplies to her business site. Patience sells 6 days a week. She requested this loan from Brac Liberia, KIVA Field partner to purchase more dry fish to sell to her good clients. She likes her business because it gives her more money each day she sells. She says that the extra income from this loan will help improve their standard of living. In the future, she wants to become a big business woman. She says thanks and gives appreciation to Brac and the Kiva community for their support.
