Harriet's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to add stock in the shop to improve sales.

Harriet's story

Harriet is a resident of Lyantonde. She is widowed with four children, two of whom attend school.

Harriet runs a retail shop, a business she started to fend for her children. With the money she gets from this business, she provides her children with the basic necessities as well as paying their school fees. Her shop is in a busy area; however, she is constrained by inadequate stock, which limits her sales.

Harriet has applied for a loan of 4,000,000 UGX from UGAFODE to buy more stock for her shop. She is positive that this will increase sales, and so her income.

She sends her gratitude to the lenders for financial support that will boost her business, thereby enabling her to provide for her children.

Harriet is pictured with her eldest daughter (far left) who helps her at the shop.
