Na Tau 28 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fingerlings [young fish] for raising.

Na Tau 28 Group's story

Dien is 40 years old and has been a farmer since she was very little. She lives with her husband and 8 other members in a small, traditional Thai house in Vietnam's northwest mountains. Like other villagers, Dien's family gets their main income from agricultural production with some small-scale activities such as growing rice and galangal [plant in the ginger family] and raising fish, chicken, and ducks.

Because Dien's family has many members and the income from these activities is low, she wants to expand the breeding scale by buying more fingerlings [young fish] to raise. To get the money for that, she borrowed a loan from Anh Chi Em. This was the eighth time she borrowed.

Dien hopes that, with the continued support of the program, the profits will be there so she can better support her family.
