A loan helped to buy goats.

Thanh An 24 Group's story

Mrs. Luyen, 37, is an ethnic Thai lady who lives in a Thai traditional stilt house with her husband and her two children. Her son is studying in 3rd grade and her daughter is in5th grade. In the picture, she stands at the first from the right.

Her family mainly relies on agricultural production for a living. Because of the instability of their income from agriculture, Mrs. Luyen and her husband work very hard at many additional activities, including cultivating rice and vegetables and raising chicken, buffalos, and pigs.

Recently, Mrs. Luyen has requested her seventh loan from the Anh Chi Em Program in order to have enough money to buy goats to develop their farm.

Mrs. Luyen is satisfied with the training and counseling provided by the program, which has helped her consistently overcome the difficulties in cultivation and animal husbandry in order to make their production more efficient.

Mrs. Luyen hopes that this investment will be as successful as the previous ones, so she can better provide for her family.

Mrs. Luyen dreams that her family will have an abundant life and that her children will have good jobs with bright futures.
