Rinconada Alta Group's story

The Rinconada Alta communal bank is in its 14th loan cycle. They consider themselves to be a solid group with great desire to continue working. It is made up of 14 people. One can see Marison and Cynthia have their little ones in their arms in the photo. In addition, 2 members are missing from the photo. Rodison was unable to be there because he was on his farm and Delia had to go on an urgent trip.

Vilma is the president of the group. She is 33 years old, has two daughters, and is divorced but this whole time has been able to get ahead with her family. Over ten years ago, she began in agriculture, harvesting cacao and fruit. She asks for her loan to do maintenance on her cacao plot; she wants to get better products and offer quality to her partners.

Vilma considers herself to be a morning person, responsible, and very hard-working. As other sources of income, she has a grocery store and also works as a day laborer on other farmland.
