A loan helped to buy animals to resell in order to provide for her family.

Tiéssiri Group's story

Myne is a married, 29-year-old woman who lives in a rural commune in Mali with her husband and two educated children. The children are seven and 12 years old.

Her dream is to provide for the needs and the wellbeing of her children in education and coverage of medical care. Due to the lack of startup funds, she has requested financial aid from micro-finance institutions such as RMCR. She frequents the local and surrounding markets for the supply and sale of her animals for cash. The loan will help her to develop her sheep fattening business.

Sheep fattening is profitable because its estimated earning potential is 12,000 CFA francs per month. With three years of experience in the business, epidemics and theft of animals are what causes her problems.
