Ermira's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy used winter clothes and other used items for resale so she can satisfy her clients for the winter season and keep providing for her vulnerable family.

Ermira's story

Ermira, resident of a main city in central Albania, is an Egyptian woman from a vulnerable ethnic minority community. She is a 49-year-old mother of four dependent children who are all married, except her disabled daughter.

Ermira has been selling used clothes and other used items and accessories as a main income source for 20 years. She earns enough from her business, according to her, to feed her family and to pay needed medication care for her daughter.

With a lack of money for her business at the moment, Ermira is applying for her third loan with Agro & Social Fund Albania. She will use this loan to purchase used items, mainly for winter season, to sell to better support her family and set aside some money for the future renovation of their small family house.

Being aware that her information will be published on Kiva’s website for lenders’ support, Ermira is thanking them in advance.
