A loan helped to buy peanuts for resale.

01_Ndiandaseynabou Group's story

These 16 brave women are members of a group that was created in their hometown in 2011. They get on well and share strong ties of solidarity. They mainly work in trade. They manage loans well and have successfully reimbursed several loans.

Seynabou is 35 years old and the group representative. She is standing on the right of the photo and holding her hand up. She is married and has six children (two girls and four boys) who all go to school.

Seynabou runs a small peanut business. She gets her supply from farmers and sells at the local market of the village. She has over 10 years experience in the sector.

She is going to buy two 100 liter barrels of peanuts to resell with good profits. She is doing well despite the competition. The profits will help her to cover her children's school costs and build savings.
