Senoko-Noko Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase the ACE 1 energy system in order to have access to solar power for lighting, charging and cooking in a way that is safer, cleaner, and saves money.

Senoko-Noko Group's story

Khabisi is a 26-year-old man who lives in separated huts, without access to electricity, with 5 other family members. Khabisi relies on piece jobs, and he struggles to buy multiple fuels with his insufficient income. He spends most of his energy expenses on mobile phone charging, paraffin and candles, which cost up to LSL 302 per month. He also spends as much as 1 hour per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Khabisi and the other members of the group in this village each bought the ACE 1 cook-stove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel, and also to help them to access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar powered.
