but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more rice, pepper, red oil, and other food items to sell.

Patience's story

Meet 29 year-old Patience from Liberia. She is living together with her partner along with 1 child. Her child is 4 years old and is currently attending the day-care school while living at home. Patience never had the opportunity to attend school. She runs a business which sells rice, pepper, red oil, and other food items. She has been in this business for the past 3 years now and works 12 hours per day, 6 days a week. Patience requested this loan from Brac to purchase more rice, pepper, red oil, and other food items to sell and increase her business. She says that the extra income from this loan will help improve their standard of living. In the future she would like to continue sending her child to school and improve her standard of living. She says thanks and gives appreciation to Brac and the Kiva community for their support.
