Gisselle Del Carmen's story

26-year old Giselle is an unassuming, friendly, responsible, respectful and hardworking woman. For two years she has run a grocery store where she sells oil, rice, noodle soup, tomato sauce, vinegar, tomatoes, onions, bananas, ripe plantains, gum, popsicles, chocolate, candy, Cheetos, bread, shortbread cookies, breadsticks, soft drinks, and juice. Her main help comes from family members.

Giselle has approached MiCrédito and Kiva for a loan which she wishes to use to buy rice, beans, sugar, salt, Cheetos, spices, milk, soft drinks etc. In the future she would like to run a general store.
