Nelson Andres's story

Nelson is 53-years old and lives in Bolívar with his wife, mother, son, daughter-in-law and grandson. Nelson is a good, honest, hard-working man, who is very responsible with his family.

His source of sustenance is farming, which he has been doing for more than 25 years. After growing many different products, Nelson decided to dedicate himself primarily to tomato farming as it is more apt and lucrative in his area.

He's requesting a new loan to invest in this year's harvest. He'll need to buy manure, fertilizer and other agricultural inputs in order to produce a fat and healthy tomato. That way, his tomatoes will fetch a good price when it's time to sell. This will allow him to generate income to cover his family's needs.
