A loan helped to buy more boxes of soap, bags of rice and soft drinks to sell this busy season.

Wilson's story

Wilson restlessly works to expand his retail shop into a wholesale stock in his center. He lives in Bwera, Uganda, with his family of a wife and nine children. Eight of his children are in school and he is determined to see them attain degrees, as well as constructing a very good house for his family and improving on the standards of living.

He sells soap, sugar, rice, biscuits and soft drinks daily, alongside crop farming and a bar business that earn him a supplementary income. Thieves are rampant in his area and this affects his cash flows, especially when crop gardens are looted. He now requests a Kiva loan to buy more boxes of soap, bags of rice and soft drinks to sell this busy season.
