Angeline's story

Angeline is a 51-year-old businesswoman from Lupao, Nueva Ecija. She is happily married to Nicanor and they are blessed with six children.

She has been engaged in a sari-sari (variety) store selling chips, bread, candies, canned goods, etc. for almost nine years.

Angeline has been a good loan-paying client of Alalay sa Kaunlaran (ASKI), Inc. for about eight years. She has again been granted a loan by ASKI amounting to 30,000 PHP under their business loan program. Her loan will be used to buy additional products like soft drinks, noodles, condiments, etc. to gain more income to support her family's needs.

Angeline’s dream is to expand her business. She believes that with the help of ASKI and Kiva, she will become a great microentrepreneur.
