Marilyn's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy feeds and vitamins for her pigs.

Marilyn's story

Marilyn is a 54-year-old farmer from San Jose, Nueva Ecija. She is a mother of three children and is happily married to Federico, a farmer.

To make a living, Marilyn has managed both of their piggery businesses for almost five years. In addition to this, Marilyn also puts a variety store in front of her house as an additional source of money and as a source of their daily needs. She sells pigs to butchers or sells them for any occasions. Her previous loan helped her to increase her income.

Marilyn is requesting again a loan amounting to PHP 45,000 under the agricultural loan program of ASKI. Her loan will be used to buy feeds and vitamins for her pigs so they will grow healthy. Her dream is to expand her piggery business and have a better living.

Marilyn hopes that with the help from ASKI and Kiva funders, she can give a convenient life to her family.
