A loan helped to purchase more inventory for his store.
Gatwech is a passionate and outstanding entrepreneur who runs his own food store. Gatwech is from South Sudan but he left due to political instabilities and joined the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya in 2005. In the refugee camp, Gatwech settled down and started to think of something he can do to support his family of wife and 6 children. He only had 3,000 KES from his savings, so he decided to start a business where he gave his all to make sure that it succeeds. Gatwech now knows that he made the best decision because he can now make a single purchase of 600,000 KES in one week. The food store has grown drastically with a large community of loyal clients and two employees that help him run the business. The food store was affected by floods which damaged most of his stock. To get back up and running again, he is requesting a loan to restock and make better store areas.
