Grace's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy another dairy cow to meet the high demand for milk and make profits which would be used to build a biogas digester. The biogas digester will help her save energy because it produces clean energy.

Grace's story

Grace is a 35-year old mother of four children who lives in Maua, a remote area located on a gentle plain before the ascent into the central highlands of Kenya.

She is a mother who wakes up every morning to work on her farm. She's fully dedicated to her work and thinks only of progressing. Grace’s primary sources of income are milk sales and a personal business she engages in to make ends meet.

She has managed to take care of her family with her income from selling milk. Grace has always wanted to have another dairy cow, but lack of capital has prevented her from doing so. She's seeking a loan to buy an additional dairy cow to improve her milk vending business.

The cow she intends to buy is a breed that produces rich creamy milk which will translate into more income. Demand for dairy milk in her area is high, however, the supply is low. With this loan, Grace is going to have more milk to comfortably meet demand.
