Alma's story

Alma is a hardworking mother and businesswoman from Carranglan, Nueva Ecija. Alma is 32 years old and she has a retail business in her village. She sells a variety of groceries, such as breads, canned goods, chips, noodles and other items for daily consumption. She has been doing this for almost 3 years. Her income is usually around 5,000 PHP per month, which is enough to support her family needs.

Alma would like to borrow a loan of 50,000 PHP to purchase condiments, soft drinks, candies and grocery items for resale, so that she will be able to raise additional income. She believes that the loan will help to improve her business. It will be an opportunity for her to increase her income and her sales as well.
