Seyavana Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase the ACE 1 energy system in order to have access to solar power for lighting, charging, and cooking in a way that is safer, cleaner, and saves money.

Seyavana Group's story

Rethabile is a 21-year-old woman who lives in separated huts, without access to electricity, with five other family members. Rethabile relies on family support and struggles with buying multiple fuels and insufficient income.

She spends the most amount of her energy expenses on mobile phone charging, paraffin, and gas, which costs up to LSL 370 per month. She also spends as much as one hour per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Rethabile and the other members of the group in this village each bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE 1 clean cookstove is biomass and solar powered.
