A loan helped to maintain his cacao crop, by pruning and weeding it in order to have a better product.

La Vecindad Group's story

Lidio is 43 years old and has three children. Over twenty years ago he started growing cacao, corn and fruit trees. He now seeks a loan to maintain his cacao crop, by pruning and weeding it in order to have a better product.

Lidio belongs to the La Vecindad [The Neighborhood] communal bank. It is made up of eight members and is led primarily by Lidio. The members are responsible and punctual. Lidio considers himself to be honest, and above all, responsible.

His dream is to continue working in agriculture and manage to have more land of his own. This would help improve his finances for the future, for both him and his children, so they can stay in school above all else, and move forward.
