Hipólito's story

Hipólito, age 71, unfortunately was not able to attend school. He works the land. His wife cares for the home. He had seven children with her, but only three are alive, and they are adults. His wife, his youngest daughter, and three grandchildren live with him.

Hipólito grows corn and beans, helped by an older child and a grandchild. The place where he works is 20 minutes away on foot, and he works from 5:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Also, he raises and sells poultry.

He needs the loan to pay laborers to bring in his harvests of corn and beans. Also, he will buy concentrated feed for the poultry.

Hipólito dreams of continuing to work and giving his family a better quality of life.
