Ahenda's Group's story

Ahenda, often described as extremely reliable, is 45 years old and has seven children. As leader, she's representing her group of nine farmers in Alego District, Kenya.

She's returning this season to work with One Acre Fund because since she first joined in 2017, she's been able to consistently feed her family, which has improved her day-to-day life significantly. Ahenda will use the profits from this season to send her children to school.

The group will use this loan to purchase seeds and fertilizer to plant a total of 5½ acres. One member will also purchase a solar light.
