Digna Asuncion's story

Digna Asuncion is 69 years old. She is married, and from this relationship she has 6 children who are all adults. Her husband is a chauffeur. They live in Picoaza, a place that was also very hard-hit by the earthquake, from which they are recovering little by little.

She is a hard-working woman who looks for the way to earn income and thereby help her husband with the household expenses. She has a snack bar in a complex where there are sports fields, and every day and night many people come to play sports. There people take the opportunity to sell their products; they sell water, colas, juices, energy drinks, empanadas, corviches [seafood fritters], and other snacks that they prepare with love for their customers.

This loan is to buy cola, water, juice, and supplies to make the snacks. Her dream is to have a great snack bar.
