Yenis Esther's story

Yenis is a 51-year-old woman, single without children. She lives in the city of Barranquilla, who from a very young age moved to the neighbouring Venezuela and has now returned to her land due to the current situation.

This microentrepreneur has many years of experience buying and selling merchandise. She mentions that from a young age she worked in different companies as a commercial advisor, sold merchandise door to door and thus earned a daily income to help her parents.

After quitting the last job, and with her savings, she started to invest in her large clientele with excellent results. She moved to Colombia and as the days went by she met a lot of people. Besides being a professional stylist she also has other income since she works part time in a beauty room in a shopping mall in the city center.

She sells to her coworkers, neighbours, friends, referrals and others. With the income that this generated, and following her mother's suggestion, she bought a washing machine which generates even more income.

She currently has 4 washing machines, and is applying for her first loan with the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation to buy 5 washing machines, clothes and shoes. Her biggest wish is to have a boutique.

Please support her in her business loan, it will be a success.
