but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more fish, chicken feet and pig feet to sell.

Fatumata's story

Meet 59 year-old- Fatumata, from Liberia. She is married and has 7 children. Fatumata deals in a business where she sells fish, chicken feet and pig feet. She learned how to sell by herself and her husband gives her money to start the business. She sells 6 days a week and has had these businesses for 12 years now. She uses car to transport supplies to her business site. To maintain her business, she applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia and KIVA Field Partner to buy more fish, chicken feet and pig feet to sell in order to generate greater profits. She likes her business because it helps to support her children. In the future, Fatumata wants to build her house. She wishes to say thanks to BRAC and KIVA.
