Mirian Del Carmen's story

Mirian is 40 years old. She is a single mother with two children and lives in the municipality of Cucuyagua, Copan. For the last six years she has made her living at her own business selling groceries. The business is located in her home. She sells meat, cold cuts, sugar, corn, beans, dairy products, eggs and seafood.

She is requesting her third loan for 15,000 lempiras to buy quintales (100 lb. bags) of corn and beans, arrobas (~25 lbs) of sugar, rice and corn, eggs, dairy products, salt, and bread. This loan will help her to keep her business stocked.

Her goal is to bring in better earnings.
