Fatiah's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase more foodstuff in bulk to meet her customers' demands.

Fatiah's story

Fatiah is a 22-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her extended family in the Bawku West district in Ghana. Fatiah runs her own breakfast business. With her first Kiva loan, Fatiah started her business. She used the profit to pay her sibling’s school fees. Fatiah is requesting a second loan to purchase more foodstuff in bulk quantities in order to meet her customers' demands. She plans to use the profit she earns to further her education.

Fatiah will repay the ‘social interest’ on her second loan by volunteering 2.5 hours per week as a Loan Coordinator, using her expertise to mentor and support fellow CAMA borrowers in her community to complete repayment of their loans as she has successfully paid off one loan herself.
