Eunice's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy farm inputs such as fertilizers and also build modern farm structures.
Eunice, a 44-year-old mom of 4 pictured in her tea crop farm, is an optimistic woman who has always desired to achieve. She knows that this will be possible through hard work and determination. She works hard to achieve her dreams. Eunice is married. She loves and takes great care of her family. Eunice was born in a family where farming skills were passed on from one generation to another. She did not have any alternative way of earning an income, so she ventured into farming. Through continuous involvement in crop and animal farming, Eunice is able to provide her family with meals at least once a day. Eunice has realized that there are very few crop farmers in her local market. She views this as a great opportunity for her to make increased profits that would go beyond meeting the basic needs of her household. Eunice feels inconvenienced by the services of financial institutions around her, especially when she is in need of an urgent loan. She is therefore seeking the intervention of Juhudi Kilimo, in collaboration with Kiva, to help her raise capital to buy farm inputs and also build modern farm structures. Through the loan she will improve her crop farming and she will have modern farm structure to take care of her farm produce when they are harvested. She thanks the entire Kiva community for their kindness.
