but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped a single mom to buy farm inputs, such as fertilizers, which helps to improve the quality of her tea crop and also increase her income.

Josyline's story

The planting season is here and Juhudi Kilimo would like to introduce Josyline (41 years old single mom of 5) from the Eldoret area of Kenya. This area lacks basic amenities, such as clean water and electricity connections from the national grid. Josyline is the true definition of a hard worker and a happy mother of lovely children. She grows crops and engages in dairy farming for commercial purposes, unlike many rural farmers who produce for subsistence purposes. Josyline is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs, such as fertilizers, to improve her crops. Your loan will enable her improve her crop production through the use of quality farm inputs. Josyline dreams that through farming, she will be able to pull away from poverty and see to it that all of her children successfully complete their education. Josyline is a visionary and she is keen to ensure that she keeps on progressing in life. Juhudi Kilimo, in partnership with Kiva, has extended its services to the remote areas in the Eldoret region of Kenya, and its staff are keen to ensure that hard working mothers, like Josyline, benefit from loans that would enable them purchase farming inputs. Kindly lend to a smallholder farmer this season!
