Evarlyne's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to gain access to cost-efficient hybrid seeds and fertilizer for crop cultivation for this woman with a good credit history.
Evarlyne(31 years old mom of 6) smiles broadly because she knows Kiva lenders around the world have always got her back. Evarlyne's dream has always been to live a comfortable life. She is a smallholder farmer who works with a lot of care and perseverance to achieve her objective. She has a farm where she grows crops and raises livestock. Evarlyne never had a university education and is content with the farming lifestyle. Her childhood was very challenging, and because of this, she promised herself that she would work hard to get out of poverty. Evarlyne is seeking a 79,000 KES loan which she will use to pay for farm inputs such as fertilizers to grow more crops on the farm. It takes a lot for a smallholder farmer to risk limited available resources to expand in the farming business. With your help, Evarlyne will be able to pay the high cost of farm inputs necessary for expansion. A significant portion of the profits will be invested back into the business to fuel growth, as she wants to set a good example and foundation for her family. She really hopes for your help and contribution, and she thanks you in advance. She is looking forward to a fruitful 2020 and empowerment.
