Louise Fati's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase 20 bags of nere seed to make soumbala (a spicy condiment) and save to take care of her children.

Louise Fati's story

Louise Fati is the mother of seven children, four of whom attend school. She is engaged in retail and has been preparing and selling soumbala in a local market for 30 years.

She is on her sixth loan cycle with IMF YIKRI and repaid her first Kiva loan without any problem. Louise Fati is applying again for a loan to purchase 20 bags of nere seed to make soumbala (a spicy condiment) to sell to resellers. The purpose is to replenish her stock sufficiently to satisfy her customers. Louise Fati plans to use her earnings to reinvest in her business and to save to take care of her children.

Finally, Louise Fati would like to thank YIKRI and its partners for the support provided to non-bankable entrepreneurs. Thanks to the YIKRI loans, Louise Fati is managing to save to take care of her family.
