Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

The group called “Mujeres Emprendedoras” is a committee of united and working women. They look for ways to train and improve and thus be able to give their families better living conditions. In addition, they are within the poverty elimination program.

One of the members is Maria, who sells “cocidos” (boiled mate) and “chipas” (cheesy buns), which are typical Paraguayan foods. She works to help her family and give them everything she could not have. She says that she is doing very well, and that thanks to her sacrifice she has been able to get ahead. She is grateful for the opportunity of being able to join the group and thus be able to grow and continue helping her family.

She asks for this loan to be able to invest it in the purchase of supplies needed to make her products, such as sugar, yerba mate, starch, cheese, eggs, butter, salt, and others.
