Yamile Nataly's story

Yamile is a young, 34 year old Colombian mother who sought refuge with her family in Ecuador. To arrive at the city of Tulcan, she had to see herself go alone so she went ahead of her two daughters.

Yamile only has basic schooling because her parents did not have sufficient resources to offer her a better education. For this reason, she struggles. working different jobs so that her daughters will not have the same experience as she and her siblings had.

She lives in a small house in the Chapuel community where there is some land where she can raise small animals. It was in that way that she began to raise chickens to sell.

Yamile wishes to stimulate her business to be able to support her home. For this reason, she is asking for a loan with which she will buy: chickens, wheat, cracked maize, maize, vitamins and feed. In this way, she hopes that her business will grow and she will get better earnings to meet the needs of the home.
