Margarita's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy beans, corn, cheese and other ingredients to make pupusas and invest in a grill-top stove to increase business productivity.

Margarita's story

Margarita says that her husband passed away and she lives with her son. She has no dependents nor relatives living overseas.

Margarita makes snack foods, soft drinks and pupusas [stuffed tortillas] to sell. She started the business 20 years ago with her mother but now attends to the business alone. Margarita works Monday through Sunday from 2:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

She is applying for a loan to buy beans, corn, cheese and other ingredients to make and sell pupusas. She also will invest in a grill-top stove to increase business productivity. She hopes the investment will allow her to increase her inventory and improve daily income.

Margarita dreams of keeping her business stable and of improving her economic situation to cover personal expenses.
