A loan helped to buy chicks for poultry farming.

01_Nsanthie Group's story

This banc villageois, established in September 2008, brings together seven women who all live in the same village. They share good relationships and are united together. They have repaid several loans on time and their main business is in retail.

Madame Dieynaba is 42 years old and is the representative of the group; in the photo, she is on the far right with her hand raised. She is married and the mother of four children (one of which is a boy) who are all in school.

Dieynaba is in the poultry farming business and at the same time works in food services from her home. She has eight years of experience in these two sectors.

With a new loan, she will buy 100 chicks, bags of poultry feed, vaccines, and also some food products for her food services business.

She is able to sell her chickens without any problems because she is reliable in her deliveries and has a loyal customer base.

The money she makes will allow for her to pay for her children's school fees, help her husband in managing daily expenses, and increase her savings at the banc villageois.
