01_Tfatou Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy food products for resale.

01_Tfatou Group's story

This banc villageois was created in August 2008 and supports four brave women who live in the same neighborhood and who enjoy a strong sense of solidarity as neighbors and friends.

They have reimbursed several loans on time. Their main business is in retail.

Madame Fatou is 41 years old and is the representative of the group; in the photo, she has her hand raised. She is married and the mother of three children, one of which is a girl, and all three are in school.

She has a small business of selling food products. She gets her supplies in the weekly markets in the southern part of the country by means of her brother and then sells them from her home.

She has over three years of experience in this business.

With a new loan, she plans to buy containers of palm oil, buckets of peanut paste, and to pay for their transport. She hopes to resell these items to make a profit. Her business is slowly improving because she's just starting out.

The money she makes allows her to take care of her children's needs and to increase her savings at the banc villageois.
