Netnapha's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy a loom, silk thread, a shuttle, and dyeing color for weaving silk cloth.

Netnapha's story

Netnapha lives with her husband, son, and daughter in a rural village of Surin province. Generally, her family makes a living by growing jasmine rice (a famous variety in Thailand) and weaving silk cloth.

Particularly, weaving the silk cloth, she learned from her parents and she typically weaves during her free time from the activity in the paddy field. The occupation is capable of generating income sufficiently for the family's expenses because using a product made from the silk cloth is trendy in the area (the Khmer community).

Hence, Netnapha looked for a financial source and then applied for the Kiva loan to buy a loom, silk thread, a shuttle, and dyeing color for weaving the silk cloth. In the future, she plans to increase the number of products and sell to the group in the village. The loan would encourage her to achieve the business goal and support the local business.
