A loan helped to stock up on flour, Fanta, and charcoal at wholesale to strengthen her startup capital.

Sifa Mpya Group's story

Mrs. Odile is a client of IMF Hekima and presides over the banque villageoise “SIFA MPYA.” She is a 50-year-old married mother of eight children, all of whom attend school. Her partner is a mechanic. She sells loose spices, which she has been doing since 1984 with funds she got from her husband. Later, she joined the Hekima program to support her business, which over time helped her grow progressively. With this new loan, she is going to stock up on flour, Fanta, and charcoal at wholesale, which will strengthen her startup capital. The challenge for her business is linked to strikes. She would like that her children attend school. Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to nonbankable business owners. The clients prefer to be with their children in the photo.
