Abelino's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy fertilizers, weed killer, and to pay for manual labor for the harvesting of his coffee crop.
Don Abelino is a married 47-year-old man who lives with his wife in the town of Gracias, Lempira, Honduras. For the past 6 years he has worked in agriculture, cultivating high quality coffee. He sells it in various forms, including dry, wet, and un-pulped, and he sells to intermediaries in the area. He is asking for a loan from Kiva's field partner in the amount of 10,000 Lempiras (Honduran currency) in order to buy fertilizers, weed killer, and to pay for manual labor for the harvesting of the crop. This loan will help him to maintain his business. His goal is to grow his coffee farm.
