A loan helped to buy a motorcycle for the family's daily needs.

Sambath's story

Sambath is a construction worker located in the rural area of Pursat province, Cambodia. He lives with his wife and they have two children. He works very hard at the construction site and works for hours every day.

To increase his family's finances, his wife helps him by working as a farmer in his community. Both of them can make a net income of only $8 per day and have to pay for food, for clothes, and for medicine. He and his wife work very hard to make his family's situation better than now.

Due to the shortage of his finances, Sambath has applied for a loan in the amount of KHR 6,000,000 to buy a motorcycle for the family's daily needs. With the help of this loan, he hopes that he can save some money and not have to pay much for motor taxis.

Sambath expresses his thanks to all Kiva lenders who have contributed their funds to help poor people like him.
