Jimmy's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase the ACE 1 energy system in order to have access to solar power for lighting, charging and cooking in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Jimmy's story

Jimmy is a 35-year-old man who lives in a brick house with eight other family members including four children. Jimmy works as a farmer but struggles with the cost of cooking fuels. He spends the most amount of his energy expenses on charcoal, which costs up to UGX 45,000 per month. He also spends as much as one hour per day, gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Jimmy bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help him and his family save the money spent every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE 1 clean cookstove is biomass and solar-powered.
