'elenoa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to plough their plantation and hire more workers.

'elenoa's story

This is 'Elenoa. She is a 61-year-old mother to nine adults and the wife of a farmer. They live in their own home with their youngest daughter on the island of 'Eua.

'Elenoa, supported by her husband, runs a business growing crops and kava. They own a piece of land, and her husband takes care of their plantation while 'Elenoa does the marketing of their crops. They sell their kava from their home, and the crops are sold at the local market.

'Elenoa and her husband have been running this business for more than thirty years. Even though they are growing old, they still manage to run the business and make their own money. Because the time for harvest is near, 'Elenoa applied for a loan in order to plough their plantation and also hire more men to help her husband with the harvest.
