Adama's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy goats, sheep and food items.

Adama's story

This member belongs to the group that was created in 2009 bringing together women who support each other, are very dynamic and are principally active in trading, livestock fattening and agriculture.

Adama, on the photo, is 48 years old, married and the mother of 5 children, 4 of whom are boys. She has been active in the livestock fattening business for years and in parallel sells fruit juice.

With her loan, she plans to buy sheep and goats that she will fatten up and sell after a few months. With the rest of the loan, she will buy cereals (baobab fruit, sorrel …) and sugar for the fruit juice business that she runs in her village.

With the profits she will earn, she plans to save part and use the other to help her husband with the family’s needs, especially the children’s education.
